There are a variety of ways to give to Penn State Lehigh Valley. We invite you to get involved!
A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence
Gifts from Penn State alumni and friends have been essential to the success of the University’s historic, land-grant mission to serve the public good. To fulfill that mission, Penn State started “A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence.” This is a fast-paced, five-year campaign focused on three key imperatives:
- Open Doors
- Create Transformative Experiences
- Impact the World
Penn State Lehigh Valley is focused on two key initiatives related to this campaign:
- Organic Chemistry Lab
- Campus Expansion
Nittany Lion Terrace & Student Plaza
Located at the front of the campus building, the Nittany Lion Terrace is a sculpted area surrounding the famous Nittany Lion shrine statue. The Student Plaza, which was opened in 2015, boasts a beautiful water feature, beautiful landscaping, and even a Nittany Lion mascot bench.
Walkways, benches and gardens in both areas provide a peaceful setting to gather for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends. Inscribed bricks and stone pavers are available, as are naming opportunities on benches, gardens, and trees.
The Ronald K. De Long Gallery & Community Gallery
Opened in 2010, The Ronald K. De Long Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley is an impressive space for displaying visual arts from local and national artists. The Community Gallery, which was opened in 2016, is a space that displays visual arts created by local high school and college age students. Friends of the galleries provide valuable support that allows for new exhibitions and free community viewings.
